It's pretty good but I think I still prefer ACDSee for general browsing and organizing of pics. I guess which is best depends on what you use them for. Did you know that Irfanview (I got version 3.36) does screen captures to open or direct save to various file formats of the whole screen, active window, or visible client area (text area) of the active window? click options > capture - (set your options)click start- click the window you want - then hit the hot key. also found: 20/20 (??? it has an option to pay to remove ad banner, but doesn't have one, nor does it try to access the internet.)- image editor with lots of filters; does screen captures of windows etc., selected rectangles, and auto scroll of web pages and other programs (notepad at least). imageN (freeware)- nothing special except it does LOSSLESS jpeg cropping, I didn't even know that was possible. Great for cropping spammed pics. If anyone knows of another cheap program that does this, please let me know. all can be found at http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/ ---- jjs
