Unfortunately it seems I have to compile a list of fonts that make make sense for ascii art. I have tried to find them out within my program by looking at some character widths of all fonts available on the system, but this takes a lot of time for testing and most of the result fonts are symbolic ones (like Wingdings)... So here is my question: What are the names of the fonts you are using for ascii art? Please post your answer directly to me - I don't think it makes sense to flood the ng with messages about this topic - or does it? Or if you are into Java programming: Do you have a good idea about how to find out fonts that are suitable for ascii art by a program? Thanks, Markus -- http://www.jave.de
