The trick, I found, was to use a style sheet to control the precise size of the font: the browser default smallest font size still makes the picture far too big, but if you use a CSS to override the browser defaults (4pt font or whatever floats your boat), it comes out nicely. And it looks pretty nifty, which is exactly the effect I was gunning for. Thanks again! Paul
