Well for starters; Burn CDs, play mp3s without extra hardware, show MPG, AVI, QT files, multitask with a graphical GUI? There's quite a bit of stuff the C-64 can't do and probably never will. The mp3 part is being worked on by Nate, but the decoding is done externally. I hear JOS will multitask with a gui eventually, and CD burning just might be feasible using the CMD SCSI controller. But it's not there yet and I'm willing to say the Amiga is much nicer to use than the C-64 for those applications. Doing all that stuff on a C-64 is more of a hack value - you can buy a decent used PC for the same price you pay to get your C-64 up to date.. It's very much so with the Amiga too. You can buy a several times more powerful NEW PC for the price of a loaded Amiga with all the parts bought new. C'est la vie. I hate the fact that I have to pay at least 600FIM for a network card when PC owners can buy a faster one for around 100FIM. Let's not get into display adapters or HD controllers.. :-/
