My first computer was the 128D (builtin 1541) Ermmm... I noticed a tiny mistake (well, actually it's a big one since you're a C128 owner...) The C128D did not have a 1541 built in but a 1571. The difference is that the 1571 has 2 heads and can use both sides of the disk without having to flip the disk, provided it has been properly formatted. I'm still wondering what improvement the 1570 offered. It was the 1571's predecessor but had only one R/W head. Perhaps it had burstmode like the 1571, that could be it. >> >10 PRINT WARM REGARDS >> >20 PRINT CEEJAY >> >> 30 ?"AND PETER" >> 40 gO10 >> >> Dude, you really need to brush up on your CBM BASIC... :-) > >I corrected it .. see the other post. >And hey .. they don't even make the machine anymore !
