(http://www.cheese.com/countrystep2.asp?Country=Sweden) I object to your objection ! :) I have tasted many swedish cheeses and I have yet to taste a good cheese. Hushallsost will do when used in food like lasagna or spagetti , but I would prefer a danish cheese any day. > At least semi-hard cheese, I prefer semi-hard cheese too. Cheese should be semi-hard and not wet to the touch .. when it's best IMO. > as for the soft ones I gladly > give it to the Danes I have not tasted swedish soft cheese ..as I did not dare after trying swedish semi-hard cheese. But I have tasted soft danish and french cheese and I do agree that it's not for everybody. I like the taste of the soft core in a brie .. especially when it's slightly melted , but I do not eat the "crust" as some do .. my mother thinks that is the best part but I strongly disagree. > and the mouldy ones, well, who would > want to eat 'em? (Except the French, but who counts them anyway? I don't eat mouldy cheese myself but I can see why some likes them .. it is an aquired taste - But there is definatly a market for this kind of cheese .. I just won't buy it. > and possibly the Danes because they have killed off their taste buds > with smoking too many cigarettes). I don't smoke myself and I don't see the Danes should have a reputation of smoking to much .. I didn't they (we) did. It's a disgusting addiction that severely damages your health or in the worst senario kills you in a early age. And what is worse .. unlike other addictions this also affects the people around the addicted as they are subject to the harmful smoke emitted by the smoker. I have a very low physical tolerance to cigarettesmoke and find it very hard to breathe, and my eyes water when Im subjected to it.. most likely because I was subjected to it at an early age. My father smoked but thankfully stopped since he came very close to dying at the age of 50, he is now doing much better today .. in fact he is in excellent health .. unlike his brother , my uncle who we burried a few month ago. His smoking gave him cancer in the tongue .. cutting of parts of his tongue did not stop it - My uncle lived to be 51 (though I would hardly call the last years living .. more like surviving). R.I.P. His son will never touch a cigarette. > > |\._ > | \ ^._ > | o\ ^._ > | \ O ^._ > | O \ __o____\ > \ o | | > \ | | > \ O| | > \ | | > \|_______| > > /Magnus W Drawing the kind of cheese you don't like ? :) _.oooo ,o8P"'' | dP' _ | ,8P _ (_) | ,8'-)(_) | dP _ (- | 8b (_) _ '----------d8 Y8 (_) -) _ -) 8P `8L _ _ (_) d8' Yb (_)(-(_) dP Y8o_ (- _o8P CJ `P8oo.___,oo8P' `'"""""'' Here is a Pizza .. because I began to wonder what kind of cheese a Mozzarella is. I like it on some pizza , but isn't it a mouldly cheese ?
