Here in my small city of Saskatoon, (located in Saskatchewan-- a province in middle Canada), we don't honestly care all that much as a whole about whether someone is black or not. It's more about whether you are red or white as those are two largest racial factions. See, you can be East Indian, Chinese, Black, Japanese or Malaysian and nobody cares but if your ancestors were the people who were here first, well damn, can't have that-- you must automatically be of low class, committing robberies and murder and rip off the System in yer spare time... Moving on, if you are white, then you must be rich and you must hate all Native folks. You couldn't possibly have fair skin and also Cree grandparents, eh? --Or your best friend couldn't possibly be Nishnaabe Indian. Aside from all of that, nobody really cares. We just hope you'll pretend to love everyone like we do until you're gone. Racism-- every group has it, regardless of what may be said in objection to that statement. The proof is in the pudding... and it all seems especially ridiculous to me, having been Ba'hai as a child.
