Why should it now-- especially when it has so many other places that it can do that. There is too much traffic in this house for spiders not to know to keep to themselves. And so they do for the most part. They take care of our ant troubles in the summer. It's a pretty groovy arrangement. > What if it's a poisonous one? Here in my corner of the world, (the Canadian prairies), the common house spider isn't poisonous and it is uncommon to find a poisonous spider anywhere near civilisation. The most poisonous 8-legged thing that we have running aboot is is the Daddy Longlegs whose bite can kill quickly-- except that our skin is too tough for them to penetrate.
