I love lefse with > brown cheese and butter :-) I think Annie must have been wrong .. it's not a scandinavian dish but a strictly norwegian one .. I have certainly never heard of it - I will check tomorrow to see if a similar dish exists here under a different name. It looks like pancakes .. I got a sudden craving for pancakes now .. of the danish kind - I have tried american pancakes too and there is a world of difference. It does share some similarities with the french kind though .. I didn't know lutefisk either , but as I never eat fish myself I can't say for sure that this cannot be found here.
