I am downloading it right now.
It says the bugs with undo are still there .. witch reminds me of a suggestion
I left out - a Redo function ( with the keyboard shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + Z )

One rule/idea could just be to have the letters just overlap each other .. so
either the first letter was at the top or at the bottom .. and so forth with
the other letters .. first over the second - the second over the third .. andd
so on.

No idea's for the smushing part yet though
