Some thing that might please fellow OE users. You know when Outlook Express decides that a certain combination of letters is a URL and highlights it ? Annoying isn't it ? The blue text makes some part of the picture stand out. First .. lots of the highlighting and File:// annoyences can be removed by upgrading to version 5.5 (and probably above .. I haven't tried the 6.00 preview) Also I as mentioned about a year back or so you can hold down the left mouse button when you click a post because rewriting and colouring will only occur after you let go of the button. Ofcourse you can't scroll a message like this , but it works for short messages. But the new part i just found out is that when you ROT13 scramble/unscamble (choose Unscramble from the message menu) you remove all highlighting ( I don't know about the file:// rewrite .. I use version 5.5 ). Ofcourse now the text will be scrambled but when you unscramble again the original message is displayed once more .. and also without highlighting! To make this even easier customize your toolbar to include the Unscramble button. Every time you have troubles with blue URL highlighting just press Unscramble twice. Kind Regards Ceejay
