Pretty much everyone that deserves the name newsreader... I like (X)emacs with gnus, but for someone who is quite used to Wind~1 that might be a little bit too much of a culture-shock... The same goes for tin and slrn, which should be available for Wind~1 as well, although not quite as "badly" as with gnus. As far as native Wind~1-apps go, I'd suggest Forte agent. OE can do it as well, but I'd rather bite off my tongue than actually recommending it. That piece of shit has more flaws than even your average MS-"program", which basically means: It *is* one huge flaw. You might also want to look into "hamster" and some related programs (korrnews is among them). Hamster is a small local newserver for Wind~1 that appears to have a few *very* nice features.
