I use Outlook Express that also can do this I use Agent but one _can_ avoid looking at the content of posts in Netscape. Just don't open the article. It's pretty simple to simply "mark as read" the offending article by looking at the subject or author. (In the netscape version I have, hit the green diamond) Then set your newsreader to view "unread" messages only.
