All you have to do is make frames of ascii art... just like they do to
make
cartoons.  After you've done this, you can use javascript to actually
animate the frames.

I have two small programs to help with this:
1st, Ascii Art Animator will animate the frames before you put them into
javascript - so you can modify it more easily:

2ndly, Animation to Hypertext Converter will slap the frames between the
appropriate javascript (making all the appropriate changes to letters
