I feel bad just sitting around and watching.  Even though pictures aren't
my thing, here is my very first attempt to create images as opposed to
lettering/fonts.

Sigh.  Well I *tried*.  

Where is the appropriate place to discuss ascii fontography (not figlet or
figlet fonts)???

This may be a silly newbie question.  (Gee, after all these years, still a
newbie...)  why is there a perfectly good newsgroup collecting dust in the
rec.* hierarchy???  It has no spam in the time this group has collected
more than its fair share (although relatively little compared other alt.*
groups)?

Is there a story behind it?  Pounting me to a FAQ is a MORE than adequate
response
