To give you an idea of my hearing, I have had to remove all dimmer switches from my house (I can hear the PWM), not-used many TVs (I can hear the flyback transformer), stopped useing a couple of electronic timers (I can hear the small amount of current the gate switches let through when not beeping), and many other problems.
