I found two excellent programs at CNET's "download.com" site (http://www.download.com): Pict2AsciiFAT 1.03: Excellent Pict to ASCII converter. Includes the ability to zoom in/out, auto contrast, optimization for screen or printer, allows you to choose from standard ascii characters or full use of the font, and allows you to change the font. All this on the fly! It will also automatically weed out the non-monospaced fonts if you choose. Email Effects: The equivalent of MacPaint for Mac ASCII artists. It will automatically draw freehand, straight lines, rectangles, ovals and ASCII'd fonts (this feature could be better). Stretch, shrink, rotate, erase, fill, and other features all waiting for your artistic touch! Check out download.com, and use the word "Ascii" to search for these and other programs (For Mac AND IBM). Scott Cram
