Unfortuantly, the |letter prounced as a D is next to impossible to translate to ascii, |unless you want a large font. and >|< is as close as we get to another |letter, (not sounding like anything in english) On my computer, "*" looks like ">|<." But the letter usually looks like: \ | / \/|\/ / | \ / | \ | _/\_ /\ _____ | / `` \ or maybe _/__\_ | | | / \ (not A) J | (about as small as it gets) Didn't I do the 'l'? ___ J | E N |/| N Looks fine in two lines. let me give a shot at the 'd' _ /_| ' ' __ / | /__| | | Hmm... three lines seems to be the smallest... |Anyway, as you can see, one-liners are impossible. yep. you could use 'dth', and stuff, but it's doesnt give accurate pronounciation. |Besides, I found out recently that the name IS polish, so all this is |moot as far as that name is concerned. But as far as the rest goes, |writing the cyrillic alphabet in one-line ascii is about as easy or |possible as writing the japeneese or aribic letters in one-line ascii. yep. I said I thought the name was Polish before... two or three lines could work. __________________________________________________________________Phosphor
