"Blowing your own horn" as it is known, is a sure sign of some major insecurities. Why don't you let your work stand on its own merits, rather than effectively tell people " Look at me, Look at how great I am........please!". Honestly Pete, don't cheapen your art by trying to get people to take notice, because then they might say yes, the art is great but the artist is pathetic. Stand up for yourself as yourself, dont hide behind other names or even other people, as you lose a lot of respect that way. Espescially in a world forum. Have some confidence in yourself!
