Actually the original animation was CHASE.VT by the ascii-artist " Catalyst " in May 1995. I have today posted a uuencoded/zipped version of this under the subject CHASE.ZIP to the newsgroups alt.ascii-art.animation and alt.binaries.pictures.ascii for those who want to see the original which is 103k in size and uses ansi escape codes for the animation.
