For <aaa>'s info, AOL has a "sub-culture" of ASCII art-  it is done in
AOL's proportional font and uses the alt-characters (non-ascii) and are
called "macros"...  

I'm on AOL but have not gotten involved with "Macros" since I believe
that ASCII characters and fixed-width font are the "universal" text-based
pictures... anyhow, I do know of contacts for AOL Macros...  (some people
actually spend their time converting the fixed-width asciis to proportional
spacing).... and they create their own! 

This is the latest list I have of AOL- Arial font- "ascii" art:  All email addresses
should have @aol.com after them if you are mailing from outside AOL...

          MAINLY MACROS-  weekly list of MACROS and INFO
