What can we rule out and what's left afterwards? OK, we know it's not just Navigator Gold, but we have a strong suspicion that it's Gold interacting with something else. It has been suggested that it could be Gold interacting with Win3.1. It could also be something to do with the system - amount of memory, other programs running at the same time, etc. If we can find one other person for which the animation fails reliably, we can record the conditions of both systems and see what things are similar. We can then rule out some of those things, by looking at other systems. We then have left the answer. Unfortunately, this involves a lot of work, and I have a suspicion that Joan just walked under a ladder before she programmed it. -- .--. |__| .-------.
