What a riot. Fortunately (PI), we had someone who spoke Spanish with us. We joked about whether or not the owners/servers knew that they even had Spanish fortune cookies (the food is terrifically authentic and the server had a very hard time with English). Which reminds me of a great joke about a guy who drops by his favorite New York deli to find a new, Chinese waiter. To his amazement, the waiter takes his order in flawless Yiddish. The guy pulls the owner aside to ask where he found the Yiddish-fluent, Chinese waiter. "Shhh," says the owner, "he thinks I'm teaching him English."
