Special things about .gif images as opposed to other pictures are that they can be transparent (their background color matches the background color of what's behind it.. like a chameleon...) or they can be animated (moving around.. like the pictures on my web page ) What the poster of the original message seems to have done is reinvent the gifscii wheel... Hm. If it comes up with better images than gifscii, then I won't complain.. but refusing to tell us where it is? that's naughty.
