To complain to one person that something he posted is not suitable for
the group is something that should be done directly to that person. I
agree with you on this but in this case it was a question of where the
line should be drawn, what is ascii art and what is not ascii art, and I
feel that that IS relevant to more than one person in this group (which
is more than one can say about your post).

I never intended to be a "spam police", I intended to question wether
this "TAP" stuff could be called "ascii art" or not, in other words a
fundamental question about how we define the pictures that are the
reason for the existence of the group. From the responses I have seen so
far I draw the conclusion that those who have some deeper insight into
how computers work seem to agree with me that PC's "TAP" does not belong
here and those who never bothered their brains with ones and zeros but
look more at the artistic side of it seem to have the opinion that it
does.
