Hi all,

I would like to try ascii art. I read the FAQ, and read the tutorials
here (thanks) I just want to make sure which is better. Should I try to
draw with dos or notepad? Someone gave me a program for coloring the art
for irc, called UltrAsc that I cannot figure out. I made a very small
mouse, and when I try to place back ground color and to actually color
the mouse, the background color will take up such a large are, it cannot
be played on irc, then I get an error, and cannot get out of the
program, so I have to reboot.
So what I am asking...whats is a easier way to start as a beginner? dos?
or notepad, and should I just get rid of this color program?
