It looks just like a dragon when I use latin-1 encoding. When I switch to something else i get the same problems. Chris The Anomaly wrote: On Mon, 7 Apr 1997 12:03:47 -0700, "J. I use Free Agent (32 bit), and whenever I receive any ascii art in this newsgroup, half the spaces are missing. This was the dragon posted by J. Melusky, and as you can see, it doesn't look much like a dragon now (or is my eyesight lost on this one? =). Can someone tell me either what I'm doing wrong or maybe repost this (cause i'm very interesting in seeing this one) with the spaces replaced by some other character that I can then remove and replace with spaces? Or mail it to me? Or something? Anything? =) Jeff -- |\ _,,,---,,_ Jeff Schwaber /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ anomaly@voicenet.com |,4- ) )-,_..;\ ( `'-' Toril, World Architect of Nullity MUD '---''(_/--' `-'\_) fL http://www.voicenet.com/~anomaly "The three main virtues of a programmer are Laziness, Impatience and Hubris" * Come see Nullity MUD! - Telnet marin.cc.ca.us 9000 * -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- /// All poems and creative material (including fiction and essays) are /// /// Copyrighted 1996 or 1997 and may not be copied, in part or whole /// /// without permission of the author, Jeff Schwaber, unless otherwise /// /// posted. -- Thank You /// -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- --
