Hi, This IS spam; it is a chain letter involving money which is illegal in the USA. The way to deal with this type of thing is to send a copy of the spam to take the userID off the spammer's email address and substitute the word postmaster. For example, if the spammer email address is: Forward the spam to: I deliberately used AOL as an example--not because AOLers are the butt of so many net jokes--but because AOL is really good about shutting down the accounts of spammers. If you think spam ticks you off, you ought to talk to some system adminstrators--especially some of those who are in big ISPs and handle only newsgroups. BTW: I usually insert "SPAMMER" in upper case as the first word in the subject header. I often receive a daemon response followed a week or two later by another response advising me of the action taken. Sometimes I get no response, but that doesn't mean no action was taken.
