Don't worry about the <BR> tag.  What you want to do is put the codes of
<pre> and </pre> around your artwork.

<pre> is for preformatted text.  It will recognize all the spaces that you 
need to include in your picture.  I don't have any quick answers for any 
special characters that you may use within the <pre></pre> tags though.
