Make sure you set it for a mono spaced-font, such as Courier and set your font for condensed spacing. Now copy a large ascii file into the document you just established. The way to copy just a small portion of this file, is to hold down the ALT key and drag your mouse to the direction you want. In other words: highlighting just the portion you wanted. (This really helps when you want to copy just a small portion out without upsetting the rest of the picture.) If a ASCII graphic is not centered or on the wrong side of your page, you can also use this feature to delete spaces on either side of the picture without having to do major editing or adjusting of the graphic. Once copied, you can now open a new document, use the same settings and copy your small portion(new picture) of the previous ASCII file, into the new document. I hope this is clear enough and helps some others out there :) My question that remains is, how can you reduce the size of some of the very large graphics? Is there a way? Back to the drawing board.. and thanks to all the people who responded :) Eve1
