The work recently appeared in the British Epilepsy Associations magazine, 'Epilepsy Today.' I am now taking this a stage further and will be undertaking a large scale project looking at ways in which photography may be useful in helping people to express what epilepsy means to them and also to help gain greater awareness to the diverse and often misunderstood nature of this condition. This will involve running workshops and getting people with epilepsy involved in expressing themselves through images. One area I am personally interested in is ways in which people with epilepsy help control their seizures by concentrating on particular things, mediatation, hypnosis or perhaps talking to themselves etc. If you have any ideas as to who may be interested in getting involved then please contact me. The project is called 'Aura' and if you are interested in finding out more then get in touch. I am looking for a national and international involvement from atists with epilepsy. I am also very much in need of funding, so again if you have any ideas please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you Jonathan Hill.
