Hi Jon, Thank you for the information. It sure looked like a hog to me. I thought ardvarks had longer snouts. My dictionary says the root for the word "aardvark" is "Africaans, fr. Africaans 'aard' earth + 'vark' pig. Given that, I think he can legally stay in my "pig" collection. Diane
