   Minor aptitude I suppose. Some people are better at it than others 
   e.g. you are unlikely to draw realistic rather than cartoon body 
   shapes unless you know how to draw such things (at least I can't).

  The word I would use is    "convert"--it doesn't create the art). 
  Such programs exist. I prefer simple line drawings myself.
