However, ackording to the Berne convention, you do not need to put any type of copyright notice in your original work to lay claim to it. It is recommended that you do put a copyright notice on any original works if you ever want to pursue any violations in a court of law, because those that don't fail miserably at a high rate. Anyone using your .sig could do so freely as long as they put a copyright notice as a "derivative work" or make claim that it is such in some fashion, still of course giving you credit in the original fashion. I do agree that folks who put effort into creating any type of publicly available work, program, code, or art should be givin credit by those utilizing such for whatever reasons. Be good, -MM
