As an artist, I can understand your desire to be recognized for your work. However, as an artist, I also understand that if your work is good and people see it as good, then you WILL be told so. If your work is not good, then, as an artist, YOU should understand that people will likely remain silent rather than hurt your feelings... but you must keep trying for the gold (as we all do.)
