The Feds allow a program called AFDC-I. The "I" is for incapacitated. Both parent s can be in the home when one of them is disabled. I can't imagine that the state of Florida doesn't have this program. Your husbands condition sounds serious enough for you to be able to qualify. This way he gets medicaid also. And Social Security Disability doesn't have a resources qualification. SSI does. And, you don't need to have a lawyer to get through the appeals process. Just go to all the doctor appointments and keep appealing. The final appeal is to go to court and let a judge decide. None of this requires extra money. Just bring all the medical reports with you. If your husband's condition is as serious as it sounds, you have an excellent chance of prevailling in the Social Security process. Actually, your post sounds like a scam. H
