With the sample shown above, I'd like to present the DOOM Figlet font.

Introduction of Figlet for readers in the Doom groups: Figlet is a
program to print text in big ASCII letters, according to a font definition.

Introduction of DOOM for readers in the ASCII-Art group: DOOM is the most
popular computer action game ever, and needs no further introduction :-)

Last December I noticed that there was no Doom font in the Figlet archives,
so I designed the basic uppercase alphabet A-Z and the numerals 0-9 in the
style of the DOOM logo.  Unfortunately I never got around to turning them
into a proper font definition file, until now.

I uploaded the font to the DOOM ftp sites (ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/idgames/
and mirrors), currently newstuff/doomfont.zip (to be moved into docs/misc/
in a week), and it will hopefully be moved into the Figlet font archives
soon, at ftp://ftp.nicoh.com/pub/figlet/.  Here you can also find the Figlet
program, and additional fonts and utilities.
