The lives of two young children >are more important, than an one's pride. snip There are many attorneys who specialize in Social Security and will take this case for a few hundred dollars, and will also defer payment until benefits start. IF THERE IS REALLY A CASE. Cant always beleive what you hear*!*! As far as waiting four to five years for benefits, that is a crock of shit. Two to four months is the max, and yes, they do retro pay. Most mortgage holders/landlords will wait for their money if you show them your case number for the SS hearing. I dont know where you are getting your MISINFORMATION, but it's no good. Unless this is just the unusal scam. There is help. Go find it! First source would be to call the bar association in your area and ask for references to law offices that specialize in SS, and also ask for a list of Elder Law attorneys.
