"Rebound"

On June 18, 1996, the D.O.E. plans to conduct "Rebound",
the first nuclear weapons test at the Nevada Test Site
since September 1992. This "Subcritical" explosion leaving
impacted plutonium buried over 1200 feet underground, is 
essentially a nuclear waste dump. This is just the 
BEGINNING of the D.O.E.'s new multi billion dollar Nuclear 
Stockpile Stewardship and Management Program which plans 
to modernize and consolidate our Nuclear Weapons industry
in order to design, test, and produce nuclear weapons 
through the year 2020. 

Join our grassroots Las Vegas campaign to demand that the 
Nevada Test Site be closed to nuclear weapons testing, 
developement and all new nuclear waste dumping.

We will begin public meetings every other Wednesday at the 
Citizen Alert office to educate ourselves and decide how to
