When I was 14 (OK... 18 years ago), my school acquired a PDP-11/34 which marked the start of my computing career. On that system we had a great ASCII piece of art, namely, the Mona Lisa, which we used to print out on a Digital DecWriter II. The cute thing about this picture was that it was a multi-pass per line image, overwriting characters on the same line with other characters to make up the eventual image (132 column).
