Any good programs, any tips or indispensible techniques. I am only a newcomer to ascii art as it is practiced by the inhabitants of this newsgroup but from experience with DOS programs and the BBS scene I would suggest that it would be worthwhile to grab a copy of a ansi/ascii drawing programs such as THE DRAW or BOX EDIT or similar. You do not then have to worry about insert or overstrike mode as much and can position your cursor anywhere within the workspace. These programs also allow you to specify which character you wish to draw with and even colours if you wish to get into the ansi side of things. I would suggest that care be taken when posting ansi graphics to a newsgroup though in raw format. They should be uencoded. cya :) Dassa Any Comments expressed by this Darryl G Lynch poster are his own and are not Western Plains SkillShare the opinion of management and/or 254 Fitzroy Street Dubbo 2830 staff of Western Plains SkillShare. Phone: 068 826866 Fax: 068 847495 Nor are the comments and opinions Email: wps@peg.apc.org.au stated done so with any thought of Compuserve: 100244,1345 malice, bad feeling or attempt to MSN : dassa@msn.com provide solutions for lifes' probs. You can take it or leave it.
