That's what happens if you forget the "Enter" key. :) Well, I just discovered this group this morning, but maybe you might be interested in a program called TheDRAW, which is designed for the creation of ASCII/ANSI pictures. It's got a lot of colour-related pictures, but it can save to pure ASCII. If you can't find TheDRAW, (www.shareware.com might be a good place to start; probably all these other people have it as well :) then with a little mucking about, MS-DOS Edit works very nicely as well. I'd recommend the one from Windows 95, but the DOS 5 or 6 version would do nicely as well. Just out of interest, the Windows 95 Edit *will* work on DOS 6. Or 5, probably. Not that you should pirate the one good feature of Windows 95, of course. Definitely (?) not. Out of the question. :) Tim Allen P.S.
