For future reference though, _don't use tabs_! On different systems, they are equal to different numbers of spaces. So even if a picture looks fine at your end, if you use tabs, the different lines could end up skewed... Here's an alternative: .. `()' .. `()' Or a sideways version, which actually takes up a few more lines than the righ-side-up version: , , , , , , , , , , (): (): (): (): (): (): (): (): (): (): , ` , ` , ` , ` , ` , ` , ` , ` , ` , ` (): (): (): (): (): (): (): (): (): (): ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` Hmm...I kind of like that! It's one of those things that looks better the more you have... Except that cats don't walk quite like that. It's been a while since I've noticed, but I think their stride is something like: , , (): (): , ` ` , (): (): ` ` Or maybe that's horses, I don't know. Just stick with the right-side-up version, and you won't have to worry about it! Well, hopefully I've provided enough raw material for you to pick something out and fiddle with it... -- ]:o_ ran(dy+som) |O = ransom@scf.usc.edu |_o= http://www-scf.usc.edu/~ransom/
