Lately, a few folks on another forum which in interested in pipe organs have been submitting pieces of ascii-art to that list for comment. Would any of you out there like to create a piece of a-a which shows a pipe organ case? If so, just respond to my email address and I'll forward it on to the organ list. Sorry, no pay - just publicity for you and this list. I guess that the difficult part of a request like this is to make the drawing interesting, because basically, a pipe organ case is full of vertical lines of varying lengths, but if you look at pictures of cases from Europe, you will also see the lines of a ceiling and supporting walls, as well as statues on Baroque and Rococo instruments. Something to think about, I suppose.... My own primitive attempt from sometime ago follows in what I now use as my sigblock.
