   Hi,

 Just decided to lurk in this group and thought I'd ask if anyone
 out there knows of a shareware utility for converting graphics (bmp, 
 or JPG or GIF) to ascii. I have a coupla gifs I'd like to try to   
 convert for use in making a new sig. I just don't have the talent to 
 make it myself.

  I seem to  remember such a utility from my old BBS days in the late 
  80s, but for the life of me I can't find it (on my old 5 1/4 inch   
  disks ;-) nor could I find anything doing an internet software 
  search.
