"How hard could that be?" I asked myself. Several artistic attempts and several monstrosities later, I thought I would come over here and fall on your tender mercies and beg for a chair. Plead. Snivel. Why should you do this for me? I have absolutely no idea...I just noticed that everyone else was asking. Come to think of it, I don't see one post that says "Thank you for the..."? (Looks around for something to trade). Ah, here, a copy of "Doomsman" by Harlan Ellison, in a Belmont/Tower Science Fiction Double with Lin Carter's "The Thief of Thoth". I adore Harlan Ellison's writing, but I don't think this book was his best work. Apparently he shares the opinion, because I am told that if you offer the book to him to autograph he tears it up and throws it away. I was saving it for the experiment, but for the first satisfactory* comfy chair offered before 4-30-96 I will send you this book (worth $12/or worth the fun of watching it be torn up....). *I'm not that fussy - a bit of upholstery, some comfortable pillows...that's all I ask.
