How many times have you spent hours in the drugstore trying to find
the perfect greeting card?  Eventually you may find something
appropriate, but is it ever just right?  For not much more than the
price of a greeting card, I will compose an ORIGINAL, PERSONALIZED
POEM for any occasion.

Congratulating a graduate?  Newlyweds?  New parents?  Sending get well
wishes?  Birthday?  Sympathy?  Thanks?

Instead of going "generic,"  Why not send an original, personalized
piece expressing your good wishes?

As this is the first time I am advertising my services on the
Internet, I invite you to try my services for FREE.  That's right,
FREE!  From now until May 12, I will answer as many requests as I am
able for FREE Personalized Poetic Pieces.  Simply send me an E-Mail
detailing your wishes, and I will compose an original poem to meet
your needs.

The poem can be as individualized or as general as you wish, depending
on the quantity and nature of the information you provide in your
request.  Some items to include:

	Name of recipient, name and/or relationship of sender, occasion,
	recipient's occupation, age (estimates o.k.), physical
	appearance, cultural background, historical background (i.e.,
	obstacles overcome), faith, pertinent scripture (or I can find
	something appropriate), hobbies, other personal interests -
	anything you feel would assist in creating a truly personalized
	piece.

	You may also express your preferences for format, meter, rhyme
	scheme, or other poetic devices.

	(In order for me to answer as many requests for free pieces as
	possible, the length will be rather short, between 8-16 lines.)

Why am I offering this service for free for a whole month?  It is
quite simple, really.  I need an Internet clientele, and reputation.
I am banking on the testimonials and word-of-mouth recommendations of
satisfied customers to support my attempt at providing a creative
alternative to generic greeting cards.  I have been writing
personalized poems on a small scale (1 or 2 per month) for about 6
years, and hope that this will allow me to provide for the wishes of a
lot more people.

I understand that not many people would blindly pay for a service such
as mine, (sure!  here's $7.00, write my fiance a sonnet), but with
nothing to lose, why not?
