To save text output from Figlet or anything in DOS (i.e. directory listings), put a greater-than sign ">" followed by a filename at the end of the command line. To use text from an existing file for Figlet output, use the less-than sign "<" followed by the filename. For example: FIGLET [switches] outfile.txt So if infile.txt is "John Doe", it will take the letters in "John Doe" and output them in Figlet characters. The results will be written to outfile.txt. To append an existing file, use two greater- than signs ">>". If you use one ">", and the file already exists, it will be overwritten with no warning. I hope this helps. ___ ____ ____ ____ ____ ___ _ _ | \ | |__/ | | [__ |__] \_/ |__/ |___ | \ |__| ___] |__] | -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- dcrosby@primenet.com
