I have seen instances where the same picture was posted 5 or 6 times in one week, and another where the same picture was posted 10 to 12 times in a month. I call that unnecessary waste of bandwidth and of everyone's time and money. BTW, no one ever said that "ALL REPEATED POSTS WILL BE FOREVER FORBIDEN." There is quite a difference between seeing a picture posted once a month and once every couple of days! One is acceptable the other is nothing but waste.
