ASCII renderings by Alan De Smet. Images are used without permission, but it's not like I'm making a profit from them, so please don't sue me. (Of course, it wouldn't matter, I'm broke anyway...) A note on the "smoothness" of the images. You may look at a picture and note that it isn't symmetrical and therefore must be wrong. Nope. I very carefully rendered these. Take a good close look at the blue mana drop and the white mana star on a card. They aren't symmetrical, they are uneven and varient. (In some ways I wish the symbols were symmetrical, it would have made making the white mana symbol soooo much easier.) I'm not real happy with my use of ? to indicate that the upper portion of the image is dark and the lower isn't, but ~, ^, and " looked worse. I'd love to here suggestions and see improvements. I'm also not real happy with the Blue Mana symbol. Ah well. (On an aside, a friend tells me that my large Magic: The Gathering logo has made it into one of Scarecrow's millions of archives.
